Over the past 15 years, Lyall has dedicated his business to offering straightforward financial advice to residents of the Greater Kansas City, Missouri, area. His main goal is growing and protecting his clients' assets while in their working years, and creating and implementing strategies designed to help provide lasting income for them in retirement. Cindy Kennedy has lived in Lee’s Summit for more than 25 years with her family. She has worked in the financial industry for over 20 years, mostly in sales and marketing departments of large mutual fund companies. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from the University of Missouri – Kansas City. Cindy is happy to promote business in downtown Lee’s Summit, where several members of her family have owned and operated businesses over the past 50 years!
Cindy’s priority is making sure that our clients feel confident and comfortable working with Friedline Financial. As we are working with our clients’ life savings/retirement funds, her goal is to be sure transactions are executed quickly and efficiently!
Cindy holds a Missouri insurance license for life, accident, and health and a FINRA Series 65 securities registration.

Kirk Huismann was born and raised in Kansas City, currently living just outside of Lee’s Summit. Kirk graduated with an accounting degree from Rockhurst University, where he also earned his master's in business administration (MBA). He passed all the exams and became a CPA in September 2021. Kirk played college baseball and continues to coach young athletes. This background makes him a great fit for our team environment!

Kirk’s favorite national park: I love them all. My wife and I plan to visit every national park in the U.S. during our lifetime. Yosemite National Park will always hold a special place in my heart. My wife and I met rock climbing, and we spent a decent chunk of time in Yosemite rock climbing. I first told my wife I loved her in Yosemite, and the next time we went back, I proposed in the same spot. One year later, we took our families with us to Yosemite to get married.
Cindy Smith has lived close to Lee's Summit on a small farm in Holden, Missouri, for more than 20 years with her husband and her son. She is fairly new to the financial industry after working in ophthalmology for over 17 years. Medical and financial are two different types of work. Cindy's goal of helping people and making their lives easier is what she did in the past with her patients and what she does now with our financial clients.
When Cindy's not at the office, you will find her watching one of her son's sporting events or relaxing at Truman Lake.
